By popular demand City Address are proud to offer the all new Mailbox EXTRA. The UK’s only mailbox rental service designed especially for large deliveries, high volume deliveries and even pallets.

Available exclusively from our Initial Business Centre location in Manchester, you can now use your mailbox to receive your letters, packages, large parcels, high volume deliveries and even pallets. The bespoke mail handling options mean you can give handling instructions for all your mail at once or tell us what to do with each individual delivery one at a time.

Come and collect your items at a time to suit you, or we can forward them anywhere in the world with additional options such as consolidate multiple smaller deliveries into one larger shipment or de-palletise pallet deliveries for onward shipping as individual parcels

Although our standard mailbox rental services are able to receive small parcels, the Mailbox EXTRA allows you to receive larger parcels and even high volume deliveries.

Whether its customers returning larger items and your suppliers delivering a new line, the mailbox EXTRA service will take delivery of your parcels small or large and let you know they have arrived.

You can either collect your items yourself or tell us what to do with them this could be forwarded them to one address or multiple different addresses.

Pallets & Bulky Items

The Mailbox EXTRA service is the only Mailbox Rental service we are aware of capable of accepting bulky items and even pallets. Large deliveries are not an issue with the Mailbox EXTRA service.

Upon receipt of your bulky deliveries or pallets we will let you know they have been received. You can arrange your own collection or we provide bespoke mail handling options including forwarding your items anywhere in the world. We can even depalletise your delivery to be sent to one or more location.

Bespoke Mail Handling

The Mailbox EXTRA comes with bespoke mail handling. Each time items are received we will let you know via email.

  • Standard letters – We will simply let you know they have been received and they will be handled as per your instructions for example held for collection or forwarded onto you.
  • Packages & Parcels – Each parcel and package received will be allocated a unique reference number which will be sent to you via email along with information relating to the item such as sender details, tracking information etc. You can then let us know what you’d like us to do with it. Whether that be hold it for collection, forward it anywhere in the world or save it to later collection/forwarding
  • Pallets & Bulky items – As with parcels we will send you a unique reference number which uniquely identified your delivery this will include details of the item we have received. Again you can then provide instructions on how this should be handled.

If you do not require bespoke mail handling options you can give instructions which apply for all your deliveries for example, you can simply let us know that anything we receive should be held for you to collect or everything should be sent to one address.

  • What is the Mailbox EXTRA service?

    Following a number of requests City Address are proud to offer the Mailbox EXTRA service. The UK’s only Mailbox Rental Service which allows you to receive extra large deliveries including pallets. Just like the standard Mailbox Rental Service however you can now receive large volume deliveries, bulky items an even pallets which will be handled as per your instructions whether that be;

    • Simply forwarding your items anywhere in the world as is
    • Consolidating items for forwarding
    • Deplettizing for onward shipping
    • Or simply holding for you to collect
  • What is the different between a Mailbox and Mailbox EXTRA?

    Both services are almost identical in they they allow you to use our address to receive your deliveries. However given the obvious storage issues our Standard Mailbox Service cannot accept large deliveries, bulky items or pallets.

    Available exclusively from our Initial Business Centre location in Manchester the Mailbox EXTRA will allow you to use our address for your standard mail, packages and parcels in addition to large deliveries, bulky items and even pallets.

  • Can I receive large deliveries without Mailbox EXTRA?

    Unfortunately not. We have an extensive client base as as you could imagine we simply don’t have the facilities or space to receive bulky items and pallets for everyone. As such this is limited to those who actually signup to the Mailbox EXTRA service.

    Bulky deliveries received on standard services would be refused.

  • Can I pay monthly or quarterly?

    Yes. The Mailbox EXTRA service is available on a choice of billing options including, Monthly, Quarterly or Annual with generous discounts for the Quarterly and Annual options.

  • Is there anything I cannot receive?

    As you’d expect there are some obvious exclusions as the type of items we can received. Below are examples of the types of mail we cannot accept either legally, because they pose a danger to our staff or because we do not have the facilities to store them.

    1. Any illegal item whether illegal here in the UK or in the location you would like us to forward it to.
    2. Explosives, flammable liquids or gases
    3. Live animals including fish, insects etc.
    4. Any form of human or animal remains
    5. Perishable good.
    6. Items lager than 220cm x 120cm x 120cm
      (standard full pallet)

  • How long will items be stored?

    The Mailbox EXTRA service is design to enable customers to receive larger deliveries and not for long term storage. Items will be stored free of charge for 5 days after which they will incur storage charges as shown in the rates schedule below.

    If you do need longer term storage please contact us in advance as we can arrange longer terms storage of your goods at a better rate (if arranged in advance of delivery)

  • What will happen to my deliveries?

    This is completely up to you. We can simply hold items for you to collect or we can forward items anywhere in the world. Items can be forwarded exactly as they are received or we can provide bespoke handling such as consolidating multiple smaller deliveries and forward them as one larger shipment or we can depalletize deliveries for forwarding as individual parcels.

    You can provide different handling instructions for each item we receive. Each time an item is received you will receive an email, telling you what we have received and providing a unique reference number, you can then tell us exactly what to do with this individual item

  • Can you forward items to multiple addresses?

    Yes. When we receive an item we will let you know via email and provide you with a unique reference number which relates to that individual item. You can tell us what to do with that item and where to send it and how to send it

  • How do I signup?

  • What documents do I need?

    City Address are required by law to confirm your identity and address (Anti Money Laundering Regulations) Once we have received your order we will email asking for proof of identity and address such as driving license, utility bills, passport etc. Read more on proof of identity requirements
