Can I use my home address?
Certainly, you can use your home address as your company’s registered office if you wish and don’t mind this becoming public information.
Before choosing to use your home address you should be aware that your home address will be publicly available online. You should also carefully check your lease, tenancy agreement or mortgage agreement as there are often clauses which prohibit the use of your home for business purposes. It may also be worth letting your insurance company know too.
What is included in the Registered Address Service?
The Registered Office service will allow you to use one of our locations as the registered office of your limited company. We will keep a copy of your statuary documents on file and offer facilities for inspection upon request.

What will my Registered Office address be?

How will my mail be forwarded
As a stand alone service your mail will generally be scanned over to you the same day we receive it (no more waiting for the postman to arrive)
If you have another service with us we will follow the instructions on your other service for example if you have a mailbox we will put your mail in your mailbox and send you an email to let you know. If you have a mail forwarding service we will forward your mail by post.
If however you’d prefer your mail to be forwarded onto you instead of scan to email this can be arranged, the only difference is you’d be responsible for the additional mail charges.
Is there anything I cannot receive?
This service is to be used exclusively as the registered office of your limited company as such letters from customers and/or suppliers etc are not included in this service.

Can I use the address as my service address?
The service address also known as the Directors Service Address or Official Correspondence Address, is a separate service which must be added if you wish to use the address for this purpose, however if you add this service at the same time as the Registered Office you will be able to take advantage of the hugely discounted price of just £4.99 for a full 12 months which includes all directors and officers of the same company at no extra charge.

Is there a setup charge?
City Address offers all its services with free online setup. Due to the added administrative work involved there is a £10.00 setup charge for telephone or in branch setup.
Is there a minimum term?
City Address offer its Registered Office service on a choice of 4 options ranging from 1 year right up to 5. The minimum term is simply which ever option you select. You are however free to simply stop using the address if you wish however there would be no refund if you choose to cancel early.
To cancel the service all we ask is for 7 days written notice (by email is fine) simply remove our address from Companies House and let us know providing 7 days notice and we’ll get things cancelled for you.
